In creating what the company says is the most expensive commercial advertisement ever made, reportedly at $3.9 million, Shell has also created a unique bit of television eye. And that's just for starters, the sound will blow you away as Ferrari Formula 1 cars from past to present race through the streets of London, Rio de Janeiro ,Hong Kong , New York , and Sydney.

Shell began filming on February 17th in London and then moved to the other cities to complete the ad for their March worldwide television debut. Ferrari's own Formula 1 test drivers did the driving except in Sydney, where a Ferrari customer reportedly did the honors.
